ABOUT TOGETHER FOR LIFE

NEW SESSIONS STARTING IN THE FALL! We are currently open for registration for Fall of 2026. We look forward to being with you at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays beginning on September 13 and ending on November 22! TOGETHER FOR LIFE is an 11-week course that teaches engaged and newly married couples valuable truths and skills that will help their marriage last a lifetime. This free class is offered at Dawson Family of Faith in Birmingham, Alabama. Led by an experienced teaching team, this course offers Biblical instruction and connection with Christian community to help any couple navigate the joys and realities of marriage. Questions? DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF DAWSON TO ATTEND?
Not at all! In fact, 95% of the people that come to Together for Life have no connection with Dawson. This is a Christian ministry available for anyone.

IS THERE A COST?
There is no cost at all! Together for Life is a Christian ministry for all couples
with no fee or membership required.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF TOGETHER FOR LIFE?
Together for Life has a lecture-type format, but is always open to questions. You do not have to join in the discussions unless you want to. We have several socials during our 12 weeks that allow you to talk more and get to know other couples.

WHAT ALL DO WE DO?
For 12 weeks, you will learn about various topics in regards to marriage.
Each lesson is taught by one of our four couples who lead Together for Life.
We give each person a workbook which includes exercises for couples to work on each week. We will also offer multiple socials, which are a lot of fun!

WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS SOME CLASSES?
No problem! Many people have to miss one or more classes, but each session is independent of the others, so you will not be “behind.” You can read over the lesson missed in your workbook.

HOW LONG HAS TOGETHER FOR LIFE BEEN GOING ON?
For over 25 years, the Together for Life program created by Dawson has helped hundreds of couples build strong marriages founded on biblical principles.

HOW MANY COUPLES ATTEND TOGETHER FOR LIFE?
We typically have anywhere between 40-60 couples.

WHAT IF I ATTEND ANOTHER CHURCH?
That is great! There is no pressure to attend or join Dawson.
We simply want you to connect to and worship with a church community.
